Journee

Project Overview:

Developed at Journee, this immersive digital experience for Lioré, a conceptual perfume brand, explores how fragrance can be translated into visual and interactive form. Through a web-based environment that combines visual storytelling, sensory design, and AI-driven interaction, users are invited to discover different scents and their unique characteristics. An integrated AI agent guides visitors through a personalized journey, creating connections between emotion, identity, and fragrance while reimagining how luxury perfumes can be experienced in a digital space.

As part of the project team, I contributed to the early visual development of the experience, helping establish the initial 3D environment, supporting the look development process, and creating a large portion of the cinematics. Once the visual foundation was in place, the project continued with the wider team, who further refined the lighting, environments, packaging presentation, and cinematic sequences for the final release.

Project Overview:

This project is a focused architectural visualization study created in Unreal Engine 5, exploring real-time rendering as a tool for spatial design, atmosphere, and visual storytelling. The environment demonstrates how advanced lighting and material workflows can be used to create believable surfaces, natural illumination, and a strong sense of scale and mood.

A major focus of the project was experimenting with Unreal Engine 5’s new Substrate material system to explore more physically accurate material response and layered surface definition. Most assets within the environment were modeled specifically for the project, with the exception of the sofa and bed, allowing for a more cohesive visual language and greater control over material consistency and detail.

The project was developed as a personal reinterpretation of the “Mid-century Apartment” visualization by Valerij Lukut and the design language of ST8 Design Studio. Based on the original architectural concept and layout, the project was recreated in Unreal Engine 5 and adapted into my own visual style and real-time workflow.
